January Happy Hour at Dive Bar and Pizza Rock

Come and join us for our first Happy Hour of 2011 at the brand new Dive Bar!

The long awaited new hot spot at 10th and K is finally open!  Check out what Bob Shallit had to say about Sacramento’s latest hot spot.

What: Cornell Alumni Happy Hour (Plus Stanford and other Ivies)

Where: Dive Bar – 1016 K St (10th & K), Downtown Sac

When: Thursday January 20, 2011 – 5:30pm til about 8ish

Cost: Just pay for your own drinks

Please note that, with Dive Bar being brand new, it could be a little crazy/hectic inside!  We’ll do our best to stake out an area.

Also, Dive Bar does not serve food, but there is a brand new pizza place next door, Pizza Rock, that we’ll probably roll to afterwards.

Zinck’s night is here again!

Lounge on 20, a great spot in midtown Sac, has been kind enough to host us – here are the details:

What: Zinck’s night!  A gathering of Cornell alumni, friends, and family around the world

When: Thursday, October 21st, 6-9pm

Where: Lounge on 20th, Corner of 20th & K, Midtown Sacramento

August Happy Hour – 8/19 at Mix Downtown for Rob’s Birthday

Come join us at Mix Downtown next Thursday, August 19th for ourmonthly happy hour!

And wish a very happy birthday to our esteemed alum and friend Rob Coates! As always all friends are welcome.

What: Cornell Monthly Happy Hour (with Stanford, Yale, etc too)
Where: Mix Downtown (L St between 15th and 16th, Midtown Sac)
When: Thursday, August 19th, 5:30pm til around 8

Parking in the area is metered until 6pm then mostly open. There’s a cheap garage at 17th & L that is a pretty good option if you don’t want to deal with street parking.
